UIDBUY source-link guide: hostname and item identity
Check the destination first
The link inspector displays the hostname, path and recognisable item ID from a public URL you enter. Read the complete hostname before using a link. A brand name elsewhere in the text does not establish which website receives the request.
Keep an original marketplace reference
A stable item ID helps you revisit a listing even if its title changes. Preserve the original source URL alongside any agent-facing link. When two links point to different item IDs, investigate the difference rather than assuming they describe the same product.
Understand the inspector limit
This tool examines the visible URL structure. It does not visit a destination, follow redirects, check seller reputation, verify authenticity or determine current availability. A readable item ID is a reference, not a guarantee that a listing can still be ordered.
Avoid private links in shared research
Use public listing URLs for a spreadsheet. Private account, checkout or tracking links may contain information you do not want to share. Reopen the original public source and verify the chosen variant before using the official platform to continue an order.
Continue with the official platform
Use the official UIDBUY website for current account services and confirmed quotes. This independently written guide and its tools do not access your account.
